Title: RSS readers
Post by: yugnip on August 27, 2010, 04:31:25 am
Any ideas or comments on Linux RSS readers? I have tried Liferea, which is pretty full featured, but no others. Or does everyone use firefox for RSS? Does everyone think RSS is dead as I keep reading... in my RSS feeds.

I use Thunderbird for that. I was already using it for e-mail, so, saw no reason for another app.

Google reader works for me due to the fact that I I'm often on my  PC, Laptop or netbook. Having everything in the cloud is worth it for me.

Good points. Especially if you use multiple computers, google reader is hard to beat. For the single computer user though, a full featured reader can be pretty nice-- speed, downloads, tabbed in-line browsing, etc.
