No default password

Hello all, I love your remix. I loved it so much I set it up on my Acer 3680 laptop. I have a minor problem. I keep getting asked to - "Enter password for 'Default" to unlock". Usually, with my other installs I would just enter my user password and it works, now it won't accept it. I never set a keyring password . After I cancel it three times I can set my wireless. What can I do?

Hi jamalexa, what version of PinguyOS did you install?

I remember that being a problem with the initial versions, but not with the latest ones...

Any way, here's the fix:

Quote
Pinguy OS In the 64-bit version I forgot to remove the keyring folder. To fix this delete .gnome2/keryings located in the Home folder.

Hope it fixes it for you... please report back so we can close the ticket... :)

Thank you, that worked. I though the version was 1.1.2 since i just downloaded it yesterday to make sure of the version but k3b and the live dvd shows 1.1.1.
