how can i see installed wine apps?
« on: August 25, 2010, 03:41:15 am »
normally in ubuntu we have the apps menu where when you hover the mouse over wine, it shows wine related sub-menus including wine applications. but in pinguy we dont have that. so how am i gonna access my installed  wine software?

*ps, i added a main menu in bottom panel, although it does have a wine application section, the only app it has is the default norepad. i do not see all the windows apps i installed. what to doo?

There's a folder called wine.

The Mint Menu doesn't sort the programs into folders, it just places them all in there.

Yes, this is one of the downfalls of Mint's menu. Thats why I replaced it with Gnomenu on my own system :)

Is this the case even after you reboot or logout/log back in? If it is still missing after doing this can you right click on the menu and select "edit menu" and see if the Wine entries are listed there?

go into your home folder and delete your .wine folder.

It will be hidden so you will have to crtl+h to see it. then re-install the windows programs.
