Hi!  I'm Craig from Florida, US:A.

I tried the live CD a few days ago and was blown away by  it. So, I decided to go ahead and install it.  I can honestly say that it's the best distro I have ever tried! It performs noticeably  better that Ubuntu on my machine. Apps open faster and  the smooth wheel Firefox add-on is smooth... literally. It wasn't as smooth in Ubuntu. There are plug-ins and apps that I didn't  even know existed!

I took a screenshot with Shutter and edited out my IP addresses with Pinta. Low and behold the SS I had just edited was updated live in Shutter. Then, I was able to upload  it straight to an image host from within Shutter.  And Rhythmbox... I could go on forever and I'm not even through exploring everything,

Thanks for creating this distro. It's going to be a hit!

Craig

LOL!  That's even better! I don't know how I didn't see that big "edit" button. I guess I wasn't looking for it.

Hello all, just found this OS on Distrowatch. Been using Ultimate Edition since its inception, which has always worked out of the box for me. DL'ng this to give it a run and see what may be next for me.

Howdy All,

Been lurking around here, going to lend a hand here and there when I can. Been using Linux based operating systems for home use since *buntu 7.04 and will never change back to anything Windows based. If you have a few moments feel free to drop by my blog, lots of Linux goodies on there :)

Greetings.
I just discovered Pinguy OS last week. I tried it out for a couple of days on a spare computer and was very impressed. So I installed it on that computer, and last night I installed it on our main desktop computer. So far I LOVE it!
I'd been having numerous quirky little problems with Linux Mint (which I also love, and have used for about a year and a half), like printer and scanner stopped working, could no longer auto-mount USB sticks, and a few other weird things. Everything 'just works' with Pinguy OS, and it's surprizingly quick and graphically beautiful. It's a nice blend of Ubuntu, Mint and OSX. And most of the pre-installed apps are ones I use. Nice job!
Good luck.
