CD drive issues
« on: August 31, 2010, 03:24:33 am »
Having trouble with CD drive reading on two laptops, Gateway MT6705 and Compaq F730. Having trouble reading music cd's and having trouble ripping and encoding cd's. I've tried Sound Juicer, Asunder, K3B and RipperX.

I have successfully ripped from Rhythmbox. Give that a go.  :)

I was having problems with 10.04.1.1. I installed 10.04.1.2. The cd issue is resolved and on my Compaq F730 with Nvidia graphics, compiz is running a lot better. Hopefully this keeps runnign as is.
